Grapheme to Phoneme Cards

The easy way to learn all the phonemes of the English language. Each card contains a letter, mnemonic and a catchy caption. Contains 152 cards for teaching the various spelling-to-sound patterns of the English language. Each card is levelled and follows the progression in accordance with our phonics program, with colour-coded borders according to the Phases. 

Mnemonics are used to help children memorise the grapheme-to-phoneme relationship. Early cards also include handwriting formations printed on the reverse to help children learn the letter formation as they memorise the letter sound, and cards for teaching the formation of capital letters. At the higher levels, phoneme speech bubbles are used for scaffolding so that children can group alternative spelling patterns into sound families. These cards are also integrated into the lessons for the Teacher Planners at the different year levels.
